Welcome To My Silly Little Corner Of The Internet

Hi, my name’s Ruth and I always have too much to say. That’s why I created this space on the internet. I’m a twenty-something queer and neurodivergent woman based in Manchester, currently taking a career break from the technology industry. Maybe I’m having a quarter-life crisis. But I’ve quit my job, applied to work at festivals all summer, and am going a little stir crazy spending so much time in my own company currently. Which is where you come in!

I’ve learnt a lot since I first moved out of home and went to uni to get myself a degree in Computer Science. Not just about technology, but about how my brain works, managing my mental health (chronic depression sufferer here), what’s important to me, and how to enjoy this life as much as I can. And I want to share that knowledge with you. Alongside that, I have too many hobbies to count (thank you un-diagnosed ADHD) so I’m sure I’ll be posting my favorite recipes, latest crafts, or gardening tips aswell. Not everything will be for everyone, but hopefully there’s something amongst it all that means you want to stick around for more.

And if you’re not a fan of reading, I also have a podcast starting by the same name which you can find exclusively on Spotify! Conversely I’ll be sharing the TLDR (summary, for you non-techies) and transcript from my podcast episodes on here.

So if you like the sound of all of that…

Sign up to my newsletter, follow the podcast, and keep up to date on Instagram!

Thanks for reading – I’m grateful you’re here x
